Service Coordinator/Outreach & Referral
This service helps our agency “spread the word” about who we are and what we do. Brigette is responsible for all new intakes and helping those individuals become eligible for OPWDD services. Whether she is making appointments for someone or driving them to one of those appointments, she is there every step of the way to assist individuals with their eligibility process. Organization is a must for our Service Coordinator/Outreach & Referral position due to the extensive amount of paperwork that comes with the job. Once eligibility has been established, Brigette will then continue to work with them as a service coordinator. She also helps individuals connect with other needed services such as Medicaid Service Coordinator, Community Habilitation, Day Habilitation, Parenting, Behavior Management, Recreation/Respite, living situations, Social Security Disability, TANF, Medicaid, SNAP etc. There is also a transportation component built into the Service Coordinator/Outreach & Referral making it possible for Brigette to help individuals get to medical and other appointments as needed.
Brigette Duvall has been with Allegany Regional Development Corporation (ARDC) since 2015. She graduated from Cuba-Rushford High School, then moved onto Jamestown Community College where she earned her Associates Degree in Human Services. Prior to starting with ARDC Brigette had worked as a CNA for over seven years.
She is the mother of three children, including two girls and one boy who keep her very busy with all of their sporting events and clubs they attend. Brigette enjoys spending time with her family and supporting her children by being at (almost) all school/sporting events.
